Shamanic dance staff- Dayak Bahau Held by a shaman during important village ceremonies, shaken, the loose wood section carved out of the middle part moves up and down creating a loud clacking sound meant to frighten malevolents spirits. Collected form the Bahau tribes of east Borneo, carved from iron wood showing deep black patina of age and decorated with two antler rings.
